Dr. Guarin was incredibly professional, and answered all of my questions in depth before the procedure. Everything from scheduling all the way through to the post procedure follow up was simple. Pain was minimal, and I can't recommend the procedure enough. Get snipped.
Scheduling was very easy and the website provided all the information that i needed to make my decision. The procedure was quick and Dr. Guarin is skilled and very personable. Along with being nearly pain free post procedure, this the best option for men who are considering a vasectomy.
Wow I'm literally amazed! Dr Guarin is absolutely spot on with this procedure. 36 hours after this procedure and I'm still pain free. Dr Guarin's professionalism and expertise in truly astounding. I'm still questioning why anyone would still have a traditional vasectomy (needle and scalpel)!? Thanks again Dr Guarin!
I was very concerned about having the procedure. The doctor himself called me to discuss my questions. The surgery was simple and quick. I had no issues. Highly recommended.
Dr. G was kind, professional, and reassuring at every step. The arrangements, procedure, and recovery were easy and virtually painless. The cost is totally reasonable. Esgar is a vasectomist activist around the world, and I'm so pleased with my decision and the experience that I tell people about it every chance I get. I almost wish I could do it again! Almost.
What to Expect During Surgery at the SimpleVas Vasectomy Clinic
Getting a vasectomy is a great way to manage your pregnancy risk with your partner and ensure that feel safe having sex together. However, the SimpleVas vasectomy clinic has streamlined this process further to make it even more efficient and safe. By fully understanding how this surgery goes down, you can prepare yourself for its fairly minimally invasive approach. In this way, you can feel comfortable having unprotected sex without worrying about the risk of pregnancy.
A No-Scalpel and Needle Approach
One thing you’ll notice right away at the SimpleVas vasectomy clinic is the fact that no needles will be used during your procedure. This benefit is significant for those who are afraid of needles or scalpels and who may react poorly if they were to see them. There are only very small cuts done on the area, and each of these is carefully made to ensure that they don’t become bigger or cause any complications.
As a result, you likely will experience almost minimal pain during this procedure. A large number of people going through this treatment never need any anesthetic during the process. In this way, you can walk away from your surgery with a clear head and no confusion. Benefits like these help to ensure that you are properly prepared for any of the difficulties that may occur during your surgery.
Thankfully, very few problems ever occur during this treatment, as it is designed to be efficient, safe, and minimally invasive. While a small cut will be made through which the procedure can be done, the safe nature and quick process will leave you without a lot of suffering. As a result, you can get this process done very easily without having to experience any long-term side effects that may otherwise develop.
A Skin-Based Anesthetic Procedure Approach
Another thing that you’ll experience at the SimpleVas vasectomy clinic is a minimal anesthetic. We already talked about the fact that you likely won’t get a long-term anesthetic or any type of gas or medication fed to you during your procedure. Though some men may need this type of treatment to calm their nerves, excessive pain is rarely an issue with this vasectomy.
That said, you can expect your surgeon to apply a spray applicator of skin-based anesthetic over the surgical area. This spray is delivered in a fine mist that covers the area, absorbed into the skin. As it soaks into your skin, it will become quite numb for up to three-sixteenths of an inch. You won’t feel any pain throughout this area and will rarely struggle with any discomfort during the surgery.
And if you do ever require an injection of anesthetic beyond this level – about one percent of men will – the surface anesthetic will numb the area well enough to make this injection as pain-free as possible. As a result, you can get the comprehensive pain management help that you need to prevent this area from experiencing any high levels of pain and suffering related to your surgical treatment.
The Surgery Itself Approach
Once the area is fully named and you feel safe getting this treatment, the surgeon will proceed with your care. Typically, this process requires making a very small cut with a pointed hemostat. The tip is carefully inserted into the skin to make a small opening. The opening is then carefully stretched to one-quarter of an inch – a very small cut for this type of detailed and precise surgical procedure.
What is particularly nice about this approach is that you’ll require no stitches after you are done and very minimal blood-management. Most men bleed very little after this surgery, as the blood clots up quickly in the small opening and heal it. Likely, you’ll even have any long-term scarring on the area, working to ensure that you don’t have any awkward bumps or scars in the area.
And once the surgeon is working through the small hole in your skin, they’ll use carefully controlled scissors to cut the tube or fuse it without removing anything from your body. This element is particularly nice for men who may want to change their minds at some point. Like other vasectomies, this type is easy to reverse – and is simpler to change than most other types on the market.
Streamlined Recovery Process Approach
After your SimpleVas vasectomy clinic surgery, you’re going to go through a short period of recovery. The day of your surgery should be devoted to rest and comfort. Sit in your favorite chair, take the day off of work, and binge-watch your favorite shows or movies. The next day, you can shower yourself off and go back to a simple office job, but should wait 2-3 days for any more serious activity.
You usually need to wait at least a week before you start having sex – expect a little blood with your ejaculations the first few times. This blood is very normal and will go away. No pain should occur while you have sex or ejaculate. If you do notice any pain or if you continue to ejaculate any blood, talk to your doctor and stop having sex – there may be a small risk of a complication if you do not.
Importantly, you need to make sure that you still use contraceptives after your surgery until you have submitted your semen sample and gotten the okay from your doctor. Though there’s a very small risk that this surgery may not hold, it can happen. And during the time before your test, you may be delivering sperm to your partner. You need to wait a few months before you take this test to get the best results.
Finding the Best Results Approach
As you can see, your trip to a SimpleVas vasectomy clinic is nowhere near as difficult or as potentially problematic as you may think. Though it will take a little bit of work to make sure that you get the best results, you should have little difficulty making this situation safe and effective for your needs. So if you are interested in learning more about this process and want to make sure you do it right, please don’t hesitate to contact us at SimpleVas® Vasectomy right away to get the help that you need.
